The practices receive non-clinical business support services from Aspen Dental Management, Inc., a dental support organization.
Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment proceduresDirect Dental Assistants
– coordinate and delegate daily tasks and responsibilitiesPartner with the Office Manager and Doctors to train and onboard Dental AssistantsTake dental radiographs (x-rays)Set up and breakdown operatory room post treatmentManage infection control
– prepare and sterilize instruments and equipmentProvide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment proceduresEducatepatients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral healthPerform various office tasks as necessary Minimum Education and Experience: Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specifyMinimum 2-5 years of job-related experience preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentProof of COVID vaccination necessary for employment as a healthcare worker in states with vaccination mandates.
