Kin On is an age friendly campus which includes 6 lines of business: Rehab and Care Center, Supportive Housing, Home Care, Social Services, Healthy Living, and Development.JOB DESCRIPTIONHR Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department at Kin On.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with recruitment/new hire process and onboarding new hires.Works closely with recruiting agencies to fill any existing vacancy in an appropriate way.Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.Makes sure employees’ licenses and background check are all valid and in good standing.Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, facility-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.Provides clerical support to the HR department.Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.Microsoft software (Excel, Word) applications and utilization required.Prior related office experience preferred.Excellent organizational skills necessary.Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to deal effectively with diverse personalities.Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred but not required.Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.Working Environment: This role interacts with a community-based organization.
