 The Interim Nurse Manager of Senior Behavioral Health will be joining a 60+ patient bed hospital that offers a host of healthcare amenities including a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient Surgical Services, a Family Birthing Center, Endoscopy, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Cardiopulmonary Services, Behavioral Health, and 24/7 Emergency Services. The Interim Nurse Manager of Senior Behavioral Health will be leading a program that offers strong emotional, psychiatric, and medical treatments for the geriatric population. The Acting Manager of Senior Behavioral Health will lead a team of trained therapists, clinical nurses, social workers, and psychologists to ensure that inpatient and outpatient screenings, crisis intervention services, and psychiatric nursing assessments are administered in an accurate and patient-oriented manner. 

The Interim Nurse Manager of Senior Behavioral Health will be responsible for managing daily resources, operations, staff development, and collaboration between department leaders. This individual will lead the Geriatric Behavioral Health Department to maintain and create an environment that fosters communication and nursing education to deliver the best quality of care. Assigning tasks, coordinating activities, and the implementation of policies and procedures are additional responsibilities the Interim Nurse Manager of Senior Behavioral Health will conduct. Although not a requirement, a Bachelor’s Degree, three years psychiatric nursing experience and/or experience at a skilled nursing facility, and leadership qualities will make for quick interviews!
