Graduate Nurse (GN) Residency – Internship – (Baylor Grapevine)- Winter 2022 Cohort

Description – External Baylor Scott & White Health doesn’t just provide graduate nurses with their first jobs. This internship is offered to graduate nurses and nurses with no prior experience in the specialty area. Didactics and preceptor-guided clinical experiences combine to develop the previously inexperienced nurse into a contributing member of a fast-paced team of professionals providing care for minor to critically ill patients. All Baylor Scott & White Nurse Residency Program residents receive advanced instruction in: * Transitioning from entry-level nurse to competent professional * Development of effective clinical judgment * Strengthening of commitment to nursing * Ability to incorporate research-based evidence into practice * Formulating individual career development plans Our nurses are empowered to make decisions that improve patient care.
