Experience in emergency or trauma experience is ideal and at least one year of nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities for the Emergency Room ER Staff Nurse:
Treat emergency room patients with evidence-based care techniques Carefully assess and monitor patients Take vitals, administer medication, take blood, dress wounds Treat injuries, allergic reactions and trauma Collaborate with ER staff nurses Ability to quickly assess a situation and react Communicate kindly and compassionately with patients and families

Requirements of the Emergency Room ER Staff Nurse:
BSN required 1+ year RN experience required Current New York RN license BLS required ACLS and PALS required within 12 months of start date
