WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Respond to calls for assistance
- Administer first aid and level-appropriate care per state, local and national guidelines
- Properly assess injuries and the coordination for appropriate transportation to medical facilities
- Effectively communication with Safety Managers, EMS Personnel and Medical Facility Staff
- Assist site Safety Personnel with safety related duties and inspections
- Provide detailed documentation of medical and safety related incidents
- Coordinate with Safety Managers in maintaining the most safe and secure construction site environment
- Administer daily site required drug and alcohol testing programs
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current CPR or BLS (Basic Life Support) or equivalent credential
- State Certification for EMT or Paramedic or National EMT certification, (NREMT)
- 911 Emergency Services experience or triage experience
- At least 2 years of experience working as an EMT
Preferred
- 1st Responder experience
- Prior experience with Site Safety
- Safety certifications like
- CHST, Construction Health and Safety Technician
- CSP, Certified Safety Professional
- OSHA 30
- Construction industry experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
