This short term acute care facility is a part of a regional healthcare system, which will allow for upward career progression for the experienced emergency room nurse leader.This 200+ bed hospital proudly serves the surrounding communities, offering a range of medical services to include 24-hour emergency care, cardiovascular services, neurosciences, orthopedic surgery and services, physical therapy, rehabilitation services, wound care, radiology and diagnostic imaging, and inpatient perioperative services. This facility also houses a 15+ bed Intensive Care Unit and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This hospital recently received a Get With the Guidelines – Stroke GOLD achievement award and a Texas Mother-Friendly Worksite recognition award. Furthermore, this facility is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Level IV Trauma Center.The Emergency Department Nurse Director will be responsible for the oversight of the emergency room nursing staff, physicians, techs, and ancillary employees. The ER Nurse Director will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer to devise departmental budgetary planning, ensure smooth operation of the emergency department, and facilitate safe and effective patient care throughout the entire hospital. The Nurse Director of the ED will provide their professional and clinical leadership skills to guarantee quality care and compliance with emergency room policies and procedures.
