The Staff Education Specialist reports directly to the Development Manager and is responsible for managing overall professional development programs, providing relevant education to staff, maintaining and enhancing clinical competence, fostering a positive outlook on lifelong learning, directing the development of educational activities and planning programs that increase breadth and depth of employee knowledge.
The Education Specialist demonstrates professionalism at all times and is an integral part of the leadership team, representing their department at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications: Education and Experience Required:
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• 2 years in clinical specialty
• Minimum of one year of education and staff development experience in health care setting
• Certification in clinical specialty area preferred Work Schedule: FT, Day Shift M-F Tobacco Statement Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue.
