Pay: $18.21 per hour

SUMMARY:  Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, the Cabulance Driver will be responsible for transporting wheelchair-confined patients to hospitals, medical appointments & convalescent homes.

Position Reports to:  Operations Supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or GED.  Minimum of 18 years of age.  At least six months of prior work experience.  Valid Washington Drivers License and driving record in compliance with AMRs Vehicle Safety Policy. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.  CPR certification.

• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination or valid exemption

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes but not limited to):

• Transportation of wheel chair dependent patients to hospitals, medical appointments and convalescent homes.
• Aid patients in and out of the vehicle.
• Respond to Cabulance calls as dispatched by the communications center.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues to Fleet Department
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Ensure the proper collection, accuracy and timeliness of billing information.
• Interact with patients, customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Report potential customer service concerns to Operations Supervisor.
• Ensure time clock punches are correct and accurate and immediately report errors to Operations Supervisor.
• Other duties may be assigned
