The Role:

The Director, National Accounts is an advertising sales professional with a proven track record of success in accelerating revenue and cultivating long term strategic partnerships/relationships with pharmaceutical, pharmacy and consumer health goods marketers. The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for the healthcare and media ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client advertising and marketing needs; consultatively recommend appropriate advertising solutions; negotiate, close, execute, optimize and renew with growth
  • Aggressively seek out new business opportunities to drive incremental sales while managing existing business;
  • Drive revenue across all relevant HMN networks and products/solutions
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments as they pertain to your accounts
  • Differentiate yourself and HMN in the market by becoming a healthcare thought leader, trusted advisor and preferred partner to clients

Candidate Profile:

  • 8+ years in advertising sales with significant pharmaceutical/consumer health experience and contacts
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/consumer health goods marketing strategies and tactics
  • Point of care media sales experience is preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated consultative and strategic sales and presentations style
  • Track record of maintaining exceptional day-to-day sales, prospecting and new business development activities
  • Ability to thrive in a very fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; exemplary customer service
  • Proficient with complete Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Cultural fit: Creative, Proactive, Accountable, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
