We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee as the Director, Internal Audit focused on financial audits.
In our Audit Services department, you will continue to develop the skills you learned in public accounting that will ultimately lead to your placement in an operations, financial or other role within the Company.
As the Internal Audit Director, you will be responsible for planning and designing the audit approach to address risk, leading audit engagements and reviewing the work product of others, and effectively communicating the results of your procedures.
You will consult with management on special assignments, including accounting matters, contract compliance, operational initiatives and due diligence.
If you are creative, enjoy the pace of public accounting without the hours; have experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, Access or ACL, as well as exceptional financial/operational audit skills, this role will be a perfect fit for you.
Requirements: Education BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field CPA License required Advanced degree preferred Experience & Attributes 7+ years of Public Accounting experience and/or industry experience Demonstrated ability to lead project activities and mentor team members Healthcare experience strongly preferred Efficient use of Excel, Access or ACL Strong written and oral communication skills Demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving Communicates results effectively and ability to distill issues to executive leadership Contribute to a positive team attitude Willingness to travel up to 30%Salary Range: $200K –
