Located in Washington, CT the Direct Support Professional will assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation and documentation to include shift reports, incident reports and individual progress reports. You will maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional and personal needs of the individuals we serve.Being a Licensed Family Therapist Job FunctionsPlan and develop treatment goals pertaining to family engagement, improvement of family communication and planning for transfer of treatment into the home setting.Provide regular (at least monthly) family therapy sessions to identified families.Maintain strong supportive working relationship with the Clinical and Behavior teams.Supports and maintain compliance with all delivery of services to the fiscal, ethical and legal standards.On-Call responsibilities as needed for family therapy and coaching during home visits.Complete required documentation and collaborate with individual clinicians related to treatment plans.Reporting on progress of family related goals on a regular basis.Participate in weekly Psychiatric rounds and Clinical Team Meetings.Assumes all other duties necessary to assure all state and federal regulations are met.Maintain responsibilities of student caseload as assigned.Maintains clear and professional boundaries.Work schedule will include at least one to two evenings per week depending on family scheduling needs.What is Devereux doing to support and protect the health and safety of our staff during the COVID-19 pandemic?Devereux is committed to the health and safety of our staff. Position requires licensure (LMFT, LPC and/or LCSW) required.Must possess current, valid driver’s license3 to 5 years post-licensure experience providing family therapyExperience working with individuals diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders, mood and anxiety disorders and reactive attachment disorders requiredTrauma-informed clinicians highly preferredDevereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
