Clinician – Residential and Day Treatment

This is a Full-time position in Anchorage, AK posted January 7, 2022.

Spurwink Services has an exciting opportunity for an LCSW, LCPC, LMSW-CC, or LCPC-C to work with children at our campus in Chelsea.

The Chelsea campus is a state-of-the-art facility with onsite hiking trails, a gymnasium, a pool, and an outdoor pizza oven!

Children served are working on communication, skill development, milieu-based therapy, family therapy, and enriched activity-based programming.

You will be a part of creating and sustaining groups, individual therapy based in a milieu setting, and coaching staff in individual treatment goals and interventions.

We work with an array of diagnoses such as autism and intellectual disabilities.

DUTIES:

Job duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, individual treatment planning for clients, individual and group therapy with children, and observation of our clients in their natural environments to gather data relative to their behavior, performance, and response to their environment.

Further responsibilities include: consulting with treatment team members, social brokerage, submission of Kepro managed care entries for Maine clients, clinical documentation, and discharge and transition planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Maine State LMSW-CC or equivalent required.

LCSW/LCPC preferred.

New graduates considered.

Supervision provided.
