Clinical Study Initiation Analyst

Responsibilities

Underthe direction of the Clinical Study Initiation Manager (CSI Manager) and theJCCC Clinical Research Support Services Director (CRSS Director), the JCCCDirector, the JCCC Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the JCCC Senior Directorof Clinical Oncology Research and TRIO-US Network and the CRU Medical Director(Senior Leadership), the Clinical Study Initiation (CSI) Analyst is required todo database management, with regards to research trials and patientinformation, build/update research calendar specification calendars andbudgets, as well as ensure the integrity of data being collected and enteredinto the clinical research management system (CRMS). The position will beresponsible for creating and updating study protocol calendars and budgets. Inaddition, the incumbent will monitor, verify and validate the integrity ofvarious data elements into the CRMS.Qualifications

Preferred – Experience workingin the clinical research field preferred, but not required.  Experience using OnCore, Velos or a similarCRMS preferred, but not required.

Required – Good communication skills both written and verbal to obtain and conveyinformation to staff team members.  Proficiencyin Windows, MS Office applications in particular Excel and Word.  Ability to complete job responsibilities withminimal supervision.  Skilled in problemsolving techniques, critical thinking and creativity, and possess aptitude todevelop new solutions.  Experience infirst tier user support and training.  Abilityto assess, assist, confirm, educate, and monitor user expectations andsatisfaction.  Interpersonal skillssufficient to interface professionally, appropriately and effectively withfaculty and staff.  Skill inmulti-tasking, prioritizing job responsibilities while maintaining accuracy andefficiency.  Strong time management,organizational, documentation, attention to detail, and task follow up skills.
