Follow the link to learn about our Nurse’s !n n The Successful Candidate Will Have The Below Experience In Addition To RN Experiencen n We are looking for a Clinical Outcomes Specialist for the STS Registry which supports the CV Surgical Program.

This is a M-F Day shift position.n Quality/Best Practice/Evidence-based Outcomes: Utilizes standards, guidelines and pathways for care delivery.

Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes.

Applies advanced nursing process skill to a specific patient or population through the continuum of care.

Monitor appropriateness of documented patient care based on evidenced-based outcomes and clinical guidelines.

Medical Chart Review/Abstraction: Performs extensive medical record review and concurrent chart data abstraction on all regulatory/registry required clinical indicators for assigned patient group, in addition to selecting and collecting appropriate data from patient charts relevant to the Core Measures set and disease specific indicators.

Teamwork/Leadership: Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.

Has respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines and their role in quality and outcomes initiatives.

Uses an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.

Professional Development: Ensures improvements in practice setting by assuming responsibility for self development in life-long learning.

Trains and educations others in the area of core measurement requirements as it pertains to quality/outcomes initiatives.

Provides directions and guidance to others regarding practice; serves as a resource and mentor.
