Job Knowledge: Qualifies as a General Supervisor under the Personnel Standards of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 under indirect supervision of the Clinical Laboratory Director.
Responsible for performing and reporting results of all diagnostic tests offered by White County Medical Center Laboratory while participating in QA, IC, Safety QCI, and proficiency testing programs as required by OSHA and CLIA 88.
This position requires knowledge in the care of patients served as indicated: Neonate and infant birth up to one year, Childhood and Adolescence is one year to 17 years, Adult is 18 to 65 years and Geriatric is 65 years and above.
