Our Medical Oncology team consists of two physicians and three advanced practitioners who are over both inpatient and outpatient services in multiple locations throughout the Christus Spohn System.
Each of the Medical Oncologists typically carries a patient load of 25 patients per day in clinic, and the infusion/chemotherapy department performs services for approximately 45 patients per day at our main location, and nearly 20 patients per day at our second location.
Radiation Oncology includes two locations that offer the services of external beam radiation, Tomotherapy, and CyberKnife.
The laboratory provides a full range of hematology and metabolic services.
We also offer a Palliative Care consultation program, which has an active daily census of 15 – 20 patients per day.
The CHRISTUS Spohn Cancer Center is accredited by the Commission on Cancer and is the only regional cancer center to receive this honor.
