CCHC is part of the Iowa Primary Care Association which provides innovative training, technical assistance, and advocacy efforts for the centers in Iowa.

The CMO is uniquely positioned to provide a voice for our patients while also pursuing professional goals and making an impact in a fully integrated model of care in a state-of-the-art medical home located in a historic renovated building near the Millwork District in Dubuque!

The CMO leads, develops, implements, evaluates, and revises the medical delivery of primary care, performance improvement activities, referral tracking, and coordination of patient care at CCHC.

The CMO shares in administrative functions and collaborates with other CCHC administrators in program planning, budget activities and establishing strategic objectives directly related to medical services.

The CMO ensures service excellence through the delivery of quality, evidence-based, primary medical care to all patients.

Qualification/Education requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Currently licensed in primary care, internal medicine, emergency medicine or primary care specialty.

  Board eligibility or certification, if required.

• Experience with a population similar to CCHC population is desired.
• 5 years of clinical practice experience
• 5 years of healthcare administration

Position Overview:

• CMO Administrative / Clinical time is negotiable
• Monday thru Friday, 8 to 5, No nights, No weekends, No call

Compensation:

• Salary range of $245,000 to $275,000 commensurate with experience
• Sign-on Bonus
• Relocation
• PTO: 5 weeks
• CME: 1 week $3,500
• Up to $100,000 loan repayment through the state and NHSC (4-year term)
• 3-6-month rental property available or housing allowance
