Payer Analyst, Business Systems Analyst 4Job Profile Summary We are looking for a Payer Analyst, Business Systems Analyst 4 to join our team.

This position is commonly referred to as a Payer Analyst.

This role focuses on analyzing complex payer and provider requirements to support edits and validation rules for claims and eligibility transactions.

Researches and executes edits and rules to support CMS and other payer billing requirements.

Works closely with Product Management for new product initiatives and business strategy.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Design and request edits/validation rules for healthcare EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) 837 claims and 270/271 eligibility transactions.

Peer review edit intent and logic accuracy for daily edit review meeting.Research common EDI transactions to/from proprietary, XML, JSON, Unix, and other formats.Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and Quality Engineering to request system enhancements and modifications to support industry and company initiatives.Consistently demonstrate initiative to identify and execute ideas for projects to improve quality and programming efficiencies.Leads projects with high complexity involving clear and succinct documentation, project plans, and measurement.

What are the requirements needed for this position?7+ years experience in healthcare billing.2+ years experience working in a fast-paced environment leveraging agile development methodologiesBachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.

What Experience is helpful to have?Preferred: Certified ICD-10 coder or equivalent work experience.Preferred: Experience with XML, JSON, Unix, and other formats.

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

General office duties and remote working environment.

Home Office Required.

How much should I expect to travel?

Less than 10% travel involved.
