– $1,500 Sign On BonusCommunity Health Center(CHC)offers comprehensive, community based, preventive, primary care and wellness services for New Jersey residents of all ages at four convenient locations.CHC health care services are designed to meet the specific needs of the entire family from annual check-ups and immunizations to sick visits, mental health counseling andcritical prenatal care.We are currently looking for a Certified Medical Assistant, Primary Care, to join our team at our Asbury Park, NJ facility.
The position would be responsible for assisting in providing care for patients of the Primary Care Department as part of Health Care Team.
Responsibilities: Supports organizations mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workersAssists provider with patient workflow and maintaining clinical recordsExecutes order and performs related duties as ordered according to standard operating procedureMaintains laboratory proficiency and required log books and recordsAssists in coordination, management and documentation of medications, supplies and referralsAdheres to agency infection control and safety policiesAdheres to the organizations policy in regards to absenteeism and appearanceOmission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position Qualifications: High School diploma or GEDMedical Assistant Certificate from an approved school6 month of supervised medical assistant experience preferredExperience in EKG and phlebotomyCPR certificationExcellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skillsValid New Jersey Drivers licenseWorking Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors with telephone, copier, fax machine, computer, printer, centrifuge, electric exam table, glucometer, nebulizer, needles/syringes, oxygen equipment, personal automobile, scales, sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, thermometer, venipuncture equipment, wheelchair.
