Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, that includes an externship in a medical office clinical setting, required.
Curriculum must include pharmacology and medication administration.
(Certificate must be obtained within six months of hire).

– National Healthcareer Association (NHA)RMA
– American Medical Technologists (AMT)RMA
– American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) Experience: Previous work in a medical setting preferred. Licensure/certification/registration: CMA, CCMA, or RMA.

Annual UAP agreement with provider required.
