Description
We are seeking a Field Nurse Case Manager experienced in catastrophic work injury cases to cover the Louisville area. This individual is responsible for the medical case management of work related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The Case Manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers and employees, and closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carrier.

.Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in KY
- 2 years critical care experience; 2 yrs experience in Catastrophic injury/illness case management, disability management
- Case Management or clinical experience in: acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma (including amputation), burns
- Certification by one or more of the following: CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC, RN-BC, If not currently certified, applicant is willing to commit to obtain certification within 2 years
- Experience in Workers Comp Catastrophic Case Management required
- Excellent organization and timeline adherence skills
- Excellent PC and technology skills
- Excellent communication skills- written, verbal and interpersonal
- Valid Driver’s License, and good driving history
- Minimum of two years of experience in catastrophic injury/illness case management, to include onsite case management experience, with preference for experience in Workers Compensation case management
- Case management or clinical experience in management of: Acquired brain injury, Spinal cord injury, Multiple trauma (including amputation), Burns
- Workers Compensation Board recognized/certified catastrophic provider in states where statutorily required
- Active professional license in their state
