The Manager, Clinical Data Reporting & Analytics contributes to the improvement of clinical data review and cleaning efficiency by providing innovative and forward thinking reporting solutions.

Inspire new and creative ways to meet data review objectives.

Serve as a primary report delivery contact for stakeholders including data management, clinical data reviewers and physicians.

Identify opportunities for analytic support within the data review community.

Interpret and translate business needs into tangible reporting solutions.

Drive the development and implementation of new reporting tools as applicable.

Position ResponsibilitiesResponsible for designing, developing and implementing technical solutions for integrating, analyzing and reporting clinical data to clinical trial end-users by utilizing experience with drug development process, clinical trial methodology, statistics and global regulatory requirements such as Good Clinical Practices (GCP).Clinical and statistical programming and development of computing strategies for analysis and reporting for clinical data quality and integrity, trial status and risk identification within the pharmaceutical industry.

Can interpret and translate a business data review need into a tangible report/visualization.Interface/liaise with end users.Leverage technical expertise to define feasible solutions and understand limitations.Leverage technical expertise on SAS, Oracle Clinical, Rave, Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik, JReview, SAS, Unix,Windows and/or SQL and pharmaceutical therapeutic area knowledge to define feasible solutions and drive strategic use and implementation of new reports/visualizations.Support cross-functional projects, which require strong stakeholder management and project management skillsWill contribute to discussions to define new opportunities for data review tools.Translate requirements/specifications to programmers.May provide support and training to the user community regarding the use and implementation of new reports/visualizations, including the development of any applicable training material.Manage the report development lifecycle from inception through production delivery and post-production change.Contribute to the development of reporting prototypes for new solutions as applicable.

Degree /Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree.3-5 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Key Competency RequirementsExperience with varied reporting and analytic tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik, JReview, SAS, and/or SQL.Strong analytic and problem solving skills.Solution oriented.Strong understanding of relational databases and clinical trial data.Able to communicate technical information in a non-technical fashion.Able to work independently and in a team environment.Experience interacting with Informatics on large scale projects.
