The Boeing Company is seeking an Environment Health & Safety Engineering Manager based out of either locations Renton, Washington, Everett, Washington, Tukwila, Washington, Seattle, Washington, Berkeley Missouri, and Hazelwood, Missouri.
This individual will manage integration of Environment and Workplace Health and Safety in design of products, production systems and services.
Develops strategies and processes to achieve business goals in reduction of workplace safety risk and environmental impact.
Partners with Business Units and Functions in a organizational structure to influence enterprise strategy.
Develop people and lead by influencing culture in engineering and design.
Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities within multiple Engineering disciplines.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position allows telecommuting.
The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
§ 120.15 is required.
“US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science or higher Experience in a direct manufacturing role 2+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience developing employees and building organizational talent 8+ years of experience leading teams/projects 8+ years of experience in engineering or environmental, health & safety Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
