Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee in Mequon, Wisconsin delivers specialty and 24/7 emergency care  and walk-in appointments at our Urgent Care clinic. We provide advanced surgical care for serious and life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Our care teams listen to understand your health needs and deliver care that’s right for you. Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee is a destination for specialty care – including heart and vascular health, cancer care, wound care, orthopedics and surgery. Our OB-GYN maternity care teams at our Birthing Center deliver a personalized birthing experience and advanced neonatal care for sick babies. We offer a wide range of minimally invasive procedures using robotic-assisted technology, imaging and lab tests, a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation center, all on one campus.

This is a part time position, and eligible for benefits.

Schedule: 11a-7p or 3p-11p

What You Will Do:

Provide direct behavioral health patient care.

• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living.
• Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities. Report any changes in condition and suggests modifications to the treatment plan.
• Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry preferred.
• CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Technical degree required.
