Overview:Experience the power of cancer rehabilitation in Plano, TX with Baylor Scott & White Institute for RehabilitationOur Plano, TX multidisciplinary outpatient therapy center continues to expand, and we are seeking a compassionate and driven licensed physical therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences on a full time basis.
The ideal candidate must posses a passion for treating oncology patients.
This facility is our largest and busiest center, located at Preston Road and George Bush.
Candidate must be energetic, compassionate, proactive, and an excellent teammate.Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer.
Interest in cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema are required, experience is preferred.
Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating both our oncologic and orthopedic population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment.
Your caseload would include a steady mix of cancer rehabilitation and orthopedics, with potential for full time cancer rehabilitation.
Mentorship is available for our full-time new graduate physical therapists.

News & World Report as one of the top 25 rehabilitation facilities in the nation.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical TherapyCurrent State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of which he or she will practiceCardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification requiredAbility to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patientsInterest in cancer rehabilitationInterest in lymphedemaPreferred Qualifications:Cancer rehabilitation experienceLymphedema experienceOutpatient orthopedic experience Physical Requirements:Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the course of a workday/shift.
