Albion Rye Associates are working closely to support the hire of a highly experienced Associate Director of Clinical Operations to join their growing team in the San Francisco area, with a focus of various Therapeutic areas including CNS, Oncology, and Rare Diseases.
We are looking for a passionate candidate, who is driven by the research to help discover, develop, and deliver innovative medicines to transform the lives of patients suffering from various conditions.
Responsibilities: Design, develop and oversee clinical operations across all development projects Lead the clinical team setting the standards for clinical operations performance, actively promoting collaboration required for success and coaching and developing the team for future growth Actively build, coach and develop the clinical team.
Provide support to direct reports (Clinical Project Managers, CRAs’ and trial assistants).
Ensure clinical trial teams and sites are properly trained and in compliance with protocols, ICH GCP, relevant SOPs and any relevant local regulations.
Manage clinical trial milestones, ensuring accuracy and any required actions are being taken to mitigate risks and address issues.
Identify opportunities and lead studies to differentiate and enhance value propositions.
Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Knowledge of conducting outcomes research, health economics research, health services research, technology assessment or conducting epidemiologic studies.
Minimum 10 years experience in clinical research and 5 years management experience.
Proven experience in leading a team within Clinical Operations Experience working within Oncology, CNS, and/or Rare Diseases studies.
