Provides efficient assistance for the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist and individualized instruction and guidance to all Dental Clinic patients.

Demonstrates competence responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care and service to patients 3.
Participates in the educational, safety and quality efforts of the Dental Practice4.
Other duties as required.Other information:Technical Expertise1.
Experience as a chairside assistant is required.
2.
Experience treating and teaching healthy and medically compromised patients is required.3.
Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
4.
Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.5.
Experience in healthcare is preferred.6.
Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.Education and Experience1.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an accredited dental assistant training program or the equivalent in applicable experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
2.
Certification: Certificate to practice dental radiography in State of Ohio is required.3.
Years of relevant experience: 0 to 2 years is preferred.4.
