Watch our video to learn more about our mission.About the RoleYour role as the The Vice President of Public Relations and Strategic Communications serves as Satellite Healthcare’s media spokesperson and prepares executives and subject matter experts for media engagements.

Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, this leader will oversee communication-focused collaboration with executive, operational and functional leaders, and the approach and work product of public relations firms engaged on behalf of Satellite and senior management.

Essential FunctionsCreate measurement standards for corporate and local market communications and public relations initiatives to ensure effective executionPlan, oversee and execute upon Satellite Healthcare’s corporate proactive public relations and thought leadership strategies and related strategic corporate communications activities, including writing communication plans, news releases, media pitches, media statements, key messaging documents, company announcements and memosCollaborate and coordinate with communications leaders within the Brand Team, and with Public Affairs leaders, to develop communications related to community relations plans Plan, oversee and execute SHC’s public relations across local markets and engage market leaders to elevate the public presence, differentiation and reputation of Satellite Healthcare locallyPartner with SHC government relations team to develop and execute public affairs communications strategyDevelop long-range communications and plan to align initiatives and activities with Satellite’s strategic plan The essential functions listed are not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, tasks, and responsibilities.

Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in communications/public relations and marketing in a fast-paced environment including five (5) years working with senior executives.Healthcare experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skillsAbility to plan, organize, lead, problem solve, and make decisionsA good generalist background, having personally performed or managed the core areas of marketing, communications, advertising, and PRA track record and professional expertise in the field of healthcare marketing, communications and public relations Satellite Healthcare, Inc.
