Publications Writer

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Publications Writer, in Atlanta, GA.

Summary:

• The primary responsibilities of the publications writer will include researching, developing, writing, editing and proofreading content for the client newsletters and publications. Articles written by the publications writer may be used in either print or electronic communications. Additional duties may include providing writing expertise for special communications projects such as executive speeches, customer letters, video case studies and customer-facing presentations and brochures. In this role, the publications writer must work closely and collaboratively with both the client communications staff and the publications agency.

Skills Needed:

• Write clear, compelling copy for employee experience portal (EEP)
• Work with creative professionals to build project content and campaigns
• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct, persuasive voice
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale projects including landing pages and detailed articles
• Conduct high-quality research and interviews
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
• Source images and other content Requirements
• Proven experience as a copywriter or related role

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a copywriter or related role.
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience with SEO preferred.
• Strong research skills.
• Creativity and collaborative spirit.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• BSc/BA in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field preferred.
