Cloudera is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our public sector field marketing team.
In this role, you will help drive and execute the marketing strategy for organizations across Federal, State and Local organizations to create demand and awareness for Cloudera.
Reporting to the Head of Public Sector Marketing, you will create and execute against the Public Sector Marketing Plan to include, messaging, campaigns, webinars, social media, and thought leadership.
Proven experience in various marketing techniques including online & traditional demand generation marketing is required.

Responsibilities
Plan, manage and execute integrated marketing plans within budget working directly with field sales teams
Collaborate with strategic partners to plan and execute marketing programs and events to drive pipeline new opportunities
Team with public sector media organizations to develop strategic campaigns to increase solution awareness and thought leadership
Translate and tailor corporate marketing collateral and message for government audiences
Interface with the Corporate, Partner, and Product Marketing teams to ensure that all activities are synchronized with corporate objectives
Oversee and manage account data in Salesforce to track the impact and efficiency of marketing campaigns and future planning
Forecast, evaluate, measure and report on marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI
Key Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of marketing to Government in a technology product organization or Federal Systems Integrator
Experience working with key public sector media organizations across Federal and SLED, such as ScoopNews Group, Government Executive, 1105 Media, and eRepublic.
Experience with account-based marketing techniques, specifically within the SLED and Federal Civilian agencies.
A self-starter and the ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated experience supporting a Government sales organization with enterprise software products and related services
Comfortable collaborating, advising and/or presenting ideas to senior level management
Affinity for details, project management, and an ability to prioritize independently and complete tasks on time
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple programs simultaneously
Excellent planning, organization, time management skills
Experience in managing marketing budgets and multiple suppliers/vendors
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Advanced computer literacy with expertise in Microsoft Office, GSuite and working knowledge of database and project management applications
Working experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Pardot, Tableau a plus.
Availability to travel up to 10-20% of the time (based on corporate travel policy)
