Public School Clinician – Elm Street and Minot Consolidated Schools

Spurwink is hiring a school-based clinician (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c) for Elm Street and Minot Consolidated Schools.

Help guide kids and their loved ones through daily social and educational hurdles, and make a real, lasting impact in your community.In this challenging and meaningful role, you will provide individual and family therapy within a public school setting, with ample opportunities for regular face-to-face collaboration with teachers, school administrators, and Spurwink supervisors.

We offer a generous external training allowance, administrative support for managed care entries for Mainecare, expense money for therapy supplies, license reimbursement, company laptop, and cell phone.During the Covid-19 pandemic Spurwink clinicians are working in schools and following CDC guidelines, school safety protocols, and Spurwink Safety protocols.

Further responsibilities include providing updates on treatment progress for managed care entries, clinical documentation, and electronic record keeping.

Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential.QUALIFICATIONS:All applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC).
