The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Strategic Clinical Solutions Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: * Providing clinical subject matter expert advice on identification and promotion of 3M medical coding product solutions to meet current and future federal government needs and requirements. * Demonstrating knowledge of how to satisfy provider/payer needs with improved clinical documentation and coding processes utilizing 3M products today and in future * Cooperatively assessing and recommending 3M training models for 3M product solutions * Exhibiting clinical experience and knowledge of inpatient, outpatient and critical care workflows and the respective capabilities of 3M clinical solutions to meet medical coding and revenue cycle needs * Preparing inputs to federal government requests for address of 3M clinical solutions – includes white papers, briefings, Requests for Information, and Proposals * Providing clinical subject matter expert advice on clinical documentation improvement workflows and solutions using 3M products * Advising best practices in the implementation of 3M clinical solutions in federal government * Representing 3M in government and prime contractor meetings concerning 3M clinical solutions and promotion of benefits to be derived by 3M products * Maintaining collaborative, professional, consultative customer-orientated relationships with internal and external customers. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of fourteen (14) years of clinical experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement * Eight (8) years knowledge of and experience implementing 3M medical coding product solutions, to include 360 Encompass * Eight (8) years of experience assessing clinical workflows and documentation improvement opportunities to advance clinical care and revenue improvements Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: * Bachelor of Science degree in nursing * Knowledge of federal government health care environment, to include DoD and VA. * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
