View All Austin JobsOverviewPowerSchool is looking for a strong leader to align and champion our Environmental, Social and Governmental programs.
The ideal candidate will be one who is capable of working closely with key business stakeholders to operationalize and manage PowerSchool’s ESG strategies and initiatives.
This is a new position charged with creating a vital program in sync with our core purpose to empower every student to reach their full potential.This position will report to our SVP, Corporate Development.
The role will be based in one of our centers of excellence and can also be based remotely.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities* Coordinate existing cross functional actions into an overall ESG strategic plan* Serve as subject matter expert on ESG initiatives* Establish data driven ESG goals, metrics and annual corporate responsibility reporting* Conduct research and analysis to support internal business partners that include property management, diversity initiatives, community affairs and compliance* Advance property management goals across global centers of excellence* Coordinate with internal and external teams to advance social responsibility causes* Liaison with internal teams with regards to governance systems and corporate governance compliance* Monitor global ESG trends, provide insights to leadership and recommend program changes* Lead internal and external communication plans to advance ESG related initiatives* Serve as an advocate for PowerSchool’s ESG program with government agencies, districts, investors and partners* Ensure ESG initiatives are progressing in accordance with ESG Strategy and Targets* Provide strategic guidance on potential engagements and drive the organization to decisions around critical issuesQualificationsQualifications* Demonstrated ability to make an impact* 5-8 years of experience working in the ESG / Public Affairs or related space, specifically in developing and executing new ESG initiatives* Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA highly preferred* Advanced understanding and knowledge of the environment, environmental issues and related public policy* Strong understanding of regulatory environment* Demonstrated confidence and ability to present to C-Suite executives; Strong executive presence* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage change and shift gears quickly* Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment while handling multiple priorities under tight deadlines* High level of focus on quality and attention to detail* Willingness and ability to travelPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:* Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, typing, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms.* Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and balance.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job:* Office environment setting typically shared with other staff members.EEO CommitmentPowerSchool is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
