GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO CURRENT CITY OF CAPE CORAL EMPLOYEES AND THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO APPLY.
THE POSITION Below is a brief overview of the role, not a full job description.
Under general direction of the PW Maintenance Manager/Transportation Preserves and enhances the City’s natural and aesthetic City-owned property and the environment through practical application of greenscape planning.
Supervises personnel and contractors engaged in propagation, cultivation, installation and maintenance of City-owned trees, plants, and turf.
Employees in this class possess extensive knowledge of urban forestry and landscape management principles and methods, including tree pruning, irrigation, fertilization, disease management.
Provides both technical and practical assistance to personnel under charge.
Position develops and/or participates in proposed city landscape design.
Perform other related duties as required.
