Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Systems Engineer 3: SEIT Government Furnished Equipment Focal to become part of the Training Systems team in St.
Louis, Missouri.
This job assignment involves managing and maintaining Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) activities throughout the product life cycle.
Responsibilities include maintaining the Aircrew Training Device (ATD) during Induction and Post-Delivery; tracking of repairable parts while and ATC is in Boeing possession; tracking of salvage parts intended for re-use on deliverable product and for laboratory use.
Position Responsibilities: As a Systems Engineer, you will develop a rewarding engineering career working with a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Appropriate candidates are expected to engage stakeholders throughout entire product life cycle.
Candidates will be encouraged to actively help the team continuously improve and develop innovative and creative solutions to products and processes.
As a member of the SEIT team, the selected candidate will be expected to support the identification and implementation of selected improvement initiatives focused on process and product rigor.
The candidate will serve as the point of contact for all GFE disposition inquiries.
He or she is expected to define and implement processes to clarify GFE ownership during device induction, Shop Turnover, device reparation and return to US Government (USG).
This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams.
This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S.
Security Clearance.
(A U.S.
Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) An interim and/or final U.S.
Secret Clearance Post-Start is require.
Export Control Requirement: This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.
§ 120.15 is required.
US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelors degree or higher in an Engineering or Technical field of study.
1 years of experience with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Supply Management or Property Management experiences.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experiences with NRTS and ROR disposition process Familiarization with BPI-6294 Using GFE and BPI-6709 Property Management policies Experience working with Property Management and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Understanding of Approved GFE Approved Storage in St Louis Boeing Facility.
Good Communication Skills for coordination with the engineering community, DCMA, and Manufacturing Receiving.
Ability to understand Contractual requirements of GFE Processing, Dispositioning, and Destruction obligations Government Property Transfer Form (DD-1149) Experience Typical Education & Experience: Degree and typical experience in an engineering classification: Bachelor’s and 3 or more years’ experience, Master’s degree with 2 or more years’ experience or PhD degree with experience.
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
