The suitable candidate will be working on the Vivado tool suite focusing on research and development of innovative solutions for the core data model (Netlist and Constraints) for the Xilinx portfolio of devices including the Adaptable Compute Acceleration Platform (ACAP).Responsibilities:Work within and across teams to extend the software architecture and implement distributed flows to significantly improve runtime performance and memory usageAssess new hardware architecture features in our device pipeline, drive recommendations for solutions in the tool chainIdentify opportunities to use cutting edge industry standard technologies for code optimization to handle large data setsEnsure timely delivery of high quality product that meets business and technical requirementsEngage with the application/field engineers to address critical customer designs issuesMentor junior developers and continuously improve software engineering practicesQualifications:BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 12years of relevant industry experience or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field with 8years of relevant industry experience or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 5 years of relevant industry experience.Proven track record developing commercial software solutionsExpertise in software architecture, data structures/algorithm and C++ skills with emphasis on memory, runtime, quality and scalability Knowledge on VHDL, Verilog, or EDIFC++ Code Debugger experienceExperience with FPGA or ASIC design flows is a plusExperience with Python, Perl, TCL and/or other scripting language.
