Cox Automotive, is seeking a UX Architect to join our UX team in the Inventory Management Solutions (IMS) portfolio in Austin, TX.

UX Architects work to identify and translate user needs into digital products and applications.
UX Architects drive the evolution of User Experience for Cox Automotive through education, advocacy, and thought leadership.
As a key member of a core Agile team, this position collaborates with product and engineering leaders to deliver features that delight customers while delivering on business objectives.
UXAs provide the lens into the humans who are using our products and software.
Your Job Lead product user experience strategy; ethnographic research, identify and work directly with customers, using stakeholder interviews, competitive audits (business and UX), and user research to understand and validate product concepts and direction.
Create enjoyable customer experiences by iterating on designs and gathering feedback to constantly validate and improve our products.
Keep abreast of industry developments and new technologies Design and evaluate visual human interfaces using user-centered design principles Synthesize user research findings, map out the holistic experiences and specific user journeys Define the information architecture and interaction flow of applications Present conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes to key stakeholders Can translate insights from user studies and feedback into meaningful actions and recommendations to improve the experiences we deliver for our customers.
Conduct interviews with internal team members, product experts, and external customers.
Evangelize and educate product and engineering teams to have a better understanding of UX best practices and techniques.
Mentor, multiply, and grow skills in more junior UX roles.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred) in HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field 5 years championing and delivering outcomes leveraging UX best practices What We Look For A portfolio that shows your thought process and ability to ship user-centered products Strong understanding of product development lifecycles Experience with Design Thinking, Lean UX, and R.I.T.E.
methodologies and fitting them into the Agile process Strong proficiency mapping out user journeys and building out high-level user flows.
Knows the difference between a user test and a usability study.
Ability to gather and synthesize different types of usability research; surveys, A/B tests, user interviews, and user tests.
