WHAT YOU WILL DO Design technical architecture of UI portal framework along with pluggable modules. Evangelize innovative best practices, frameworks, techniques to build highly interactive multi-media Web sites. Collaborate with product management, UX designers, as well as front end development teams. Collect requirements for user interface functionality. Provide thought leadership for agile cross-functional teams to enable rapid Web UI product delivery, both on mobile and desktop. Build reusable reference implementations of target architectures, and train teams on their use. Recommend processes, services, software and other tools to support business objectives pertinent to user interfaces as well as infrastructure technologies. Ensure to understand disparate technologies existing in legacy products and drive towards convergence. Ensure to guide process and technology adoption to assure QA testing of User Interfaces application. Plan and execute usability evaluation along with testing across UI development stages Document all your work and communicate issues when they arise WHAT YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field andor equivalent work experience Experience developing social networking sites with streaming media 7 years of front-end development experience 5 years minimum experience with Javascript framework (Angular or ViewJS is preferred) You must be comfortable with adult content You must be at least 21 years old WHAT IS PEFERABLE TO HAVE Expert proficiency in XHTML and CSS Expert proficiency in JavaScript, DOM, XSLTXML, jQuery Familiar with the following Kubernetesmicroservices, Web services, RDBMSSQL, SEO Familiar with cross-platform and cross-browser issues, secure web standards and best practices Expert with HTML5, CSS3, and emerging web technologies WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to learn new tasks outside immediate range of skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues Deadline oriented and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment Team-player, positive attitude, and flexible REPORTING TO THIS POSITION No direct reports PERKS FriendFinder Networks Inc. and its subsidiaries offer a business casual work environment, flexible work hours, and a competitive salary.
