Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join the Delivery Services team where the core focus is to ensure customers realize value from their Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning solutions.

Leads the technical design of a customer’s Category Management solution, working from the user perspective.

Works with a solution architect who will lead the design from a business perspective.

Serves as a technical liaison contributing to communications between project managers, key customer contacts, and IT, up to and including executive project sponsors.

Understands how the Blue Yonder, Inc.

solutions can be configured and delivered to better facilitate the technical requirements.

Scope:

  • Core responsibilities include working directly with customers to understand the functional and technical needs of the client and design technical solutions to meet those needs.
  • In this role, you will facilitate technical workshops and design best in class solutions using a suite of products, such as Space Planning, Floor Planning, Assortment Optimization, Planogram and Floor Generators as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations.

Our current technical environment:

  • Software: Blue Yonder modules for Category Knowledge Base including Space and Floor Planning, Space Web, Planogram and Floor Generator, Assortment Optimization and Generator
  • Cloud Architecture: Blue Yonder’ s deployments on MS Azure and various third-party software solutions such as SQL Server, Oracle, Windows, Linux, MuleSoft, APIs, etc.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive the technical design, optimization, integration, and implementation of Blue Yonder Retail Category Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies.

    Will also provide clear construct and validation tasks and timeline

  • Serve as a technical owner attending and contributing to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors
  • Conduct technical analysis sessions with clients and/or the project team to understand the functional needs and develop technical solutions to support the requirements
  • Provide variety of support to the project team, including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, batch operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing and programming
  • Interact with Product Management Group and Product Development Teams regarding new releases and new functionality and act as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team
  • Work with Support Services team to make Customer Stable post go-live and venture towards value realization
  • Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to steady team associates
  • Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and technical requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfaction
  • Assess technical needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmaps
  • Volunteer for new challenges and eager to learn and challenge himself for new tasks as well build a network outside the immediate team and encourage an atmosphere where team can thrive

What we are looking for:

  • Experience implementing Supply Chain Planning and Optimization projects , with at least 5 full cycle implementations in a technical role
  • 10 years of relevant industry background with demonstrable experience in enterprise level configuration, deployments, and cloud integrations
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline strongly preferred
  • Technical background with experience in installing, tuning, and deploying software on Linux and/or Windows environments
  • Experience programming with PL/SQL, T-SQL, Unix/ Windows Shell scripting or Python
  • Preferable strong knowledge of:
    • Azure Architecture
    • Enterprise application integration using ETL/APIs
    • Oracle and SQL Server tuning
