Description.

Hybrid/Remote
– Must be able to drive to Kittery or Charlestown office periodically #LI-Remote.

Oversees GreenPages enterprise infrastructure, telecommunications, networks and datacenter environment.

Ensures appropriate budgeting and utilization of systems, technology and ensures the successful resolution of hardware and software issues.

Researches and proposes solutions for GreenPages enterprise infrastructure and telecommunication systems, infrastructure security, support and continuity.

Works with the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure and Infrastructure Security to ensure the security of the corporate Infrastructure and to ensure adherence to related laws, regulations and third-party requirements regarding the transmission and storage of electronic data.

Works with the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure to draft, implement, and update corporate wide business continuity and technology disaster recovery plans, including plans for enterprise technology infrastructure crisis management and recovery for a high availability 24×7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:.

Works with team on all network, cloud and colo infrastructure/application areas to ensure optimum performance and maximum uptime of enterprise technology infrastructure..

Partners with staff and activities relating to enterprise infrastructure/applications and telecommunications architecture implementation, operation, administration, support, consulting, and training..

As a member of the IT team, participates in the development of the IT strategy and technology plans.

Evaluates the GreenPages infrastructure technology needs and researches and recommends technology solutions and process improvements as necessary.

Reviews and advises on technology policies and procedures and recommends modifications as appropriate..

Collaborate and/or oversees enterprise infrastructure, internal security and supports projects, estimates project scope and time estimates, and implementation of enterprise-wide infrastructure technology..

Defines and manages the ongoing maintenance of the enterprise systems architecture, including standards, security and protocols for data exchange, communications, software and interconnection of GreenPages information and telecommunication systems..

Works within the parameters of the annual operating and capital budget for the enterprise infrastructure, telecommunications, internal security and applications group..

Works with the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure and other constituents to develop and support business continuity, disaster recovery and incident response.

Develops Business Continuity plan integration processes to meet technology and business unit requirements..

Works with the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure and the business to ensure adherence to GreenPages internal and external business continuity program Audit guidelines..

Works with vendors to provide an alternate recovery site(s), and responds to disaster declarations to ensure timely availability of services.

Initiates quarterly and annual disaster recovery testing and modifies systems and processes as required based on test results..

Develops an in-depth understanding of GreenPages varied businesses, establishes and maintains user relationships and implements systems and processes that match user requirements..

Serves as a technical leader and resource to the business.

Maintains knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and telecommunications technologies and anticipates current and future technology and security needs.

Helps creates and proposes infrastructure strategy, security and implementation plans to ensure that the appropriate technologies are in place to enhance and secure current business operations..

Performs other duties as required..

Qualifications.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of 8 or more years of related technology experience..

Experience developing and implementing business continuity emergency response plans, operations, technology and business process recovery strategies, and crisis communication plans are important..

Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and leadership skills, along with strong negotiation and vendor management skills are essential..

A demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate technical and security information, to identify and resolve technical issues, to manage and lead projects, and to meet deadlines are essential..

Strong planning and time management skills are important to execute and implement on the strategic plan and meet ongoing operation requirements..

Job Requirements:.

8 years of IT and information security service delivery experience focused on policies and procedures delivery..

In depth knowledge of Cisco Meraki platform and the 7 layers of TCP modeling..

In depth understanding of IT infrastructure, IaaS, and operations management..

Experience managing 24X7 operations, and ensuring consistent high-quality support is provided during non-business hours..

Understanding of the IT Solutions Industry including VARs, Professional Services and Managed Services..

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience..

Experience in a Managed Service Provider environment, Cloud or Infrastructure Hosting Company, or SaaS provider..

Able to motivate and work in a team environment and inspire others in changeable situations..

Comfortable collaborating, coaching and inspiring peers..

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and reprioritize as required..

Experience communicating with and influencing all levels within an organization..

Excellent written and verbal communication skills..

Working Conditions / Environment:.

Position can be in or near our Charlestown, Ma.

Office/Kittery, Maine / Remote.

Requires minimal travel (not anticipated to be more than 10%)..
