Sr Mechanical Engineer
– NJ/NYLeadership role having ownership for product vision, developing a clear product strategy and path to success including multi-generational product planning and program management for commercial appliances product line.

Leading a team of engineers designing equipment using cutting edge technology and robotics that will be used for cooking and cooling food for our customers.Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of advanced technical products and systems.

Systems will include, rethermalizing food through induction, light and modified wave length methods along with refrigerated products.Lead cross-functional teams and product owners to develop and execute multi-generation product designs, product plans and new product introductions.Develop financially justified business cases for new products and product enhancements.

Recommends modifications of design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.

Recommend new technologies and product improvements to improve processes.Lead major engineering initiatives managing timetables, product costs and performance specifications – working with operations and culinary teams.Develop systems that automate work process which include electro-mechanical devices and robotics.Works with manufactures to reduce approval time through regulatory agencies such as NSF/UL/NEC/NFPA.

10 years experience in mechanical design engineering role or related experience in commercial foodservice equipment.Demonstrated leadership in delivering significant improvements to Multi-Generation Product Plans and world-class product quality.

Consistently achieves results, hold self and others accountable.Masters in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Demonstrated strength in cross functional and leadership level communicationsSolid knowledge of NSF and UL regulations for commercial foodservice equipment.Experience with IoT/connected productsMust be willing to travelFor immediate consideration send MS Word resume to Ted Agins, taginsariteam.com
