Specialist, Systems Engineer / MBSE

Essential Functions: Systems definition using MBSE SE artifact generation with Magic Draw or other MBSE rendering tool Systems development and deployment of software/hardware integrated platforms Earned Value management Signal Processing/Radar/Optical systems requirements definition, flow down and traceability Signal Processing/Radar/Optical system trade studies.

Prescription of the integration and test steps necessary to bring up and verify systems performance, to include detailed test planning and writing test software requirements Customer and Sub-Contractor interface Direct activities of integrated product team Generate proposals and white papers to generate new business Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: Active DoD secret security clearance required Bachelor’s degree in STEM/engineering discipline and 4 years of related experience; OR 2 years related experience with a Master’s degree, or equivalent 2 years’ experience engineering DoD systems/subsystems 2 years’ experience with a Systems Modeling Tool Security certification, or within 120 days of obtaining Preferred Additional Skills: Existing DoD TS/SCI security clearance Must be able to obtain additional TS/SCI clearance Experience with requirements definition, flow-down and traceability 2 plus years’ experience engineering Signal Processing/Radar/Optical systems/subsystems.

2 plus years’ experience with Model Based Systems Engineering Experience with Agile systems development.

Hands on experience with Matlab Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Able to travel 10%; support field testing Advanced Engineering Degree Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation) and proficient with Microsoft Office Excellent people skills; collaboration in a multi-disciplinary and diverse dynamic team environment
