The investments we have made in our infrastructure have allowed us to maintain a high level of competitiveness for both our employees and customers.n nKey Job Duties:n Install electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of our customer’s residential property Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and other relevant local codes Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues Work with the Foreman and home owners to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support our solar equipment Work with local Inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations Interface directly with VP of Operations to ensure compliance with ratios and continuing education requirements Train, mentor and develop Electrical Apprentices when needed Maintain high-quality control of all tools, company vehicles, and materials needed for job responsibilities Keep accurate records of material used and proper documentation on work orders relating to the installation Maintain compliance with all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Summit Solar standards Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadershipn Necessary Skills and Experience:n 2+ years experience in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair Previous work with up to 600 Volt Circuits Roof and attic work required qualifications Residential solar installation experience preferred 2+ years of electrical apprenticeship experience Understanding of wire and conduit sizing as well as how to make adjustments for environmental factors Ability to perform basic electrical calculations Ability to read and interpret one line drawings and electrical schematics Knowledge of the 2014 and 17 NEC and the ability to navigate the guidelines Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Must be willing to work in high places (our installations are on homeowners rooftops) Working knowledge of the usage of a voltmeter Understanding and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panelsn Job Type: Full-time Monday
