Software Architect for the Messaging + Event Platform (m/f/d)

Your Role

You will drive and nurture the messaging domain within the new IT ecosystem KNITE – you are joining us in an early project state and therefore have a lot of space to influence, shape, and design.

You will connect over 200 applications in the cloud and orchestrate their interconnectivity using Apache Kafka.

You will be the developer advocate of the Message + Event Platform to care about the needs of the consumer and producer of the platform.

You uplift our producers and consumer to the Message + Event platform.

You take on the role of a technical leader in your area
– for example, as a speaker on summits.

Your Responsibilities

• Guide the producers and consumers to work with the new Message + Event Platform at KN
• Define async messaging guidelines based on the needs and experiences of KN
• Identify requirements based on the needs of the producers and consumers
• Create examples and how tos for integrating with the message + event platform
• Consult the producers and consumers how to integrate best with the Message + Event Platform

Your Skills and Experiences

• You enjoy working with messaging for application to application integration – you have been working on an enterprise-level for multiple years and feel native in large IT landscapes
• You provide profound knowledge in one major messaging technology (Apache Kafka welcome)
• You provide deep understand of one of the major public cloud environments (AWS welcome)
• You like to understand customer needs on a technical level and can transform those into high level requirement for the platform
• Collaborative work in international teams inspires you
