Snowflake Data Architect

Infosys is seeking a Snowflake Data Architect.

In this role, you will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; provide technology consultation; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes and evangelize Infosys brand.

Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA or be willing to relocate to the area.

This position may require travel in the US and Canada.

Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree 11 years of Information Technology experience U.S.

citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S.

Hands on experience with Snowflake Preferred Qualifications: Experience in end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse with knowledge in Snowflake Data Modeling, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning and expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house patterns.

Hands-on experience in the design, development, maintenance and performance improvement of Teradata data stores with experience in Data Migration from Teradata to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.

Experience with data security and data access controls.

At least 5 years of recent experience in the design and development of data warehousing and data lake systems in the cloud, especially with Azure.

Experience in creating conceptual, logical and physical data models mapping to business requirements and working with large sets of data.

Experience with Azure data storage and management technologies such ADLS Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning and troubleshoot Experience in end to end RFP or RFI or Proactive proposals, client presentations and solution workshops, estimation, building PoVs, offerings development, training and capability building.

Proficient experience in handling and leading Agile and DevOps Projects
