Process owner in the Service Delivery Architecture team is part of Alight’s products organization.

The main focus of expertise is payroll and experience in processing payroll.

As Lead Service Delivery Architecture, you are responsible for designing how Alight’s service offering will be delivered to our clients in the best, fastest and smartest way.

The focus is to design the global process standards, translate these standards in system configuration standards and develop the proper end user guidelines and procedures.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Lead the design of global service process standards in line with Alight’s requirements and industry best practices
  • Lead the translation of these global process standards into system configuration standards
  • Lead the development of global desktop procedures, operational guidelines and templates, and key stakeholder briefing packs
  • Lead the approach for deployment of new and improved process standards and solutions
  • Lead definition of user requirements to enable the development of functional and technical specifications by the products team, user experience team and global technology team
  • Lead engagement with key internal stakeholders to enable the development of their deliverables based on ALIGHT’s global service standards
  • Lead the collection of data points that allows to identify value and non-value-added process and system steps
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on our global service standards and product features
  • Represent Service Delivery Architecture as part of sales/pre-sales efforts as appropriate
  • Contribute to any project across the P&I organization when needed

Required Skills for this position:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Profound knowledge of all aspects of your domain expertise
  • 5-8 years of operational experience within the requested domain expertise
  • 2-4 years of experience in operations outsourcing experience
  • PC Literacy – Word, Excel and Power Point, MS Visio and/or other Process Flow software (advanced level)
  • Experience in HRIS systems (euHReka, Success Factors, Workday, Peoplesoft, Oracle Fusion) and/or payroll systems
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently on assigned tasks and to accomplish assignments with little to no supervision
  • Superior language proficiency in English
  • Systematic approach to problem solving with a desire to create a better future for our associates and clients (design thinking)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills
  • Client and quality focused
  • Ability to negotiate skilfully to achieve the right outcome for all parties including management, senior leaders and customers
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a global team environment across different geographies (teamwork) as well as to work independently and make sound decisions

It would be desirable if you also have:

  • Detailed knowledge of (Alight) contract standards
  • Certification(s) related to your area of expertise such as CIPP, APA, COPC, GPHR, SPHR, Lean Six Sigma, design thinking and project management methodologies
