The Sr.
Electrical Design Engineer (EE) will be part of a project team working on Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems, and capacitive and strain-gauge based sensors.
We are looking for people with the knowledge, skills, and drive to create new and novel sensing solutions.
Projects will provide frequent opportunities for collaboration in cross functional team environments as we work together to solve problems and create solutions.Your responsibilities will include:Identify and document requirements for off the shelf Integrated Circuit (IC) selection and custom ASIC developmentWork with IC vendors to develop and qualify custom IC solutionsSupport sensor teams in working with new ICs and help standardize the ASIC development processDesign new circuits and signal processing algorithms to enhance sensor performance, apply statistical methods to data analysis, and educate customers on product capabilities.You will also be responsible for electrical product design tasks from concept to production including electrical schematics, component selection with performance, quality, & cost trade-off analysis, prototype build, design verification testing and test automation.
Your inputs will contribute to project management including technology selection, development and unit costs estimation, task scheduling and critical path management.
