Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s (BDS) Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) program is an air-defense, missile system designed to counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced aircraft where Boeing is the original engineering manufacturer of the seeker.
Boeing’s seekers provide active data to the PAC-3 missile which enables it to acquire, intercept and destroy threats using hit-to-kill technology.
The PAC-3 Seeker team is a cross functional, highly skilled, motivated group embracing the beliefs that focused safety, execution, LEAN manufacturing and business practices will secure our future and well-being, driving our product to be the seeker of choice for the PAC-3 program and future generations of weapon systems.
The PAC-3 program is looking for a Senior Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer.
This position is located at the Boeing Jetplex facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
Position Responsibilities: Development and documentation of Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) models, and simulations that align to algorithms Develop low and high fidelity models for data and performance analysis Integrate technical parameters and applying mathematical principles to models and simulations Supporting assessment and collaborative resolution of complex cross-functional technical issues amongst multiple diverse stakeholders Driving results through the development, implementation and maintenance of rigorous processes, tools, schedules and metrics Maintaining current data and providing status on technical and schedule performance issues This position requires an active Secret U.S.
Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Minimum technical bachelor’s degree Experience in Systems Engineering processes and procedures Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience/domain knowledge of systems engineering modeling and simulation Experience with complex systems development and integration preferred Experience with M&S development in Matlab Experience with C++ coding is preferred Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.
Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD9 years’ related work experience, Master12 years’ related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
