Key Responsibilities.
Provide architectural strategy and leadership to developing and implementing initiatives that improve innovation in a constantly evolving ecommerce & web content space..
Champion and define architecture for eCommerce & CMS in a Microservices-based, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless architecture..
Collaborate with senior leaders in business and technology to define MVP scope for various initiatives and design solutions that align with enterprise technology strategy..
Lead the solution team, ensuring that roadmap items are assessed, and high-level architecture deliverables produced in time for handover to the engineering teams..
Evaluate emerging technology for use across multiple domains, which include RFPs, vendor evaluations and creation of Architecture Design Proposals..
Ensure that global solutions adhere to non-functional and compliance requirements at the local markets..
Collaborate with Product Owners and other core platforms to drive product vision, manage scope and expectations..
Have responsibility for the quality of the technical solution delivered by project teams..
Provide technical leadership and mentoring of technical leads and development teams..
Have a strong focus on the high quality throughout the entire process, working closely with the Quality Assurance stream.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects for aspects related to integration with other systems.
Architect Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of enterprise technologies that define web content and eCommerce strategy..
Skills & Abilities.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience..
8 years of experience in software development, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in architecting solutions of customer facing web applications..
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to facilitate interactive sessions with business and technology teams..
Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, and complex integration landscapes..
Familiarity with API-first Headless architecture implementation in eCommerce or Web Content space will be desirable..
Familiar with AWS or equivalent cloud platform, including auto-scaling and global deployments of application architecture..
Prior work experience in eCommerce or Web content management tools like SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris, Oracle, Magento or AEM would be an added advantage..
Experience coaching and mentoring technology talent..
The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $130-160K.
This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program..
